Deese Music Promotion actually started from Amanda Deese going to Nashville, TN and seeing stars that she thought were house bands. Didn't realize that it was a song writers town. She then went back home and noticed on the radio was a song she heard at the Stage in Nashville, TN. Not realizing that she was looking at a star. So Amanda started promoting for new Country Music Artist. Amanda wanted to have a career in Music promotion. So she went to a concert with 96.9 the Kat. It was a benfit concert and Tyler Farr was there and told her to get into the music industry you need a degree in Music. That is when she looked deep into music schools and found Full Sail University. Promoting is something that Amanda just loves to do. However; she always seems to ask for permission my contacting the artist, or the artist management. She has never heard the word "NO" when it comes to promoting an artist. A lot of artist really don't care if you promote them. They just want to make sure that you don't copyright their stuff. I always like to ask for permission just to make sure that i'm not going to get into trouble for copyright. My first artist that I asked for permission was Austin Webb.
